I make no apologies for keeping on talking about it because I’m sure you will realise what a huge bucket list achievement it was. AND it goes without saying how the preparation took over my life for months beforehand.

SHOPPING 🛍️ You might remember the gorgeous green dress from last week’s Faffing Friday? While the rest of the world is obsessed with sequins here’s me buying dresses for Summer 2025. The pink dress that I love even more went into Joanie’s early Black Friday offers so I ordered it. If the fit is exactly the same as the green one I’ll be very happy. I think I could maybe get away with wearing this colour way at this time of year if I wear a black sweater or long sleeved tee under it. We’ll see.

Gutted to have not even known that Anya Hindmarch had a new collab with Uniqlo. Jane from

posted a note about it and boy was I jealous. I would’ve LOVED the red socks and wrist warmers 😭 NOT jealous AT ALL!!

FASHION 👢 Trying to decide if 3.5” boots are just TOO high for me these days with my dodgy knee but I do LOVE them. What do you think?

Have you ever bought occasion wear from Sainsbury’s? No? Me either. I actually ordered a faux fur coat at the weekend as my local TU concession is rubbish. I’m picking it up today. I saw this article and thought hmmm interesting. I’ll let you know in the next Faffing Friday what I think about the coat. I DID NOT need another coat and it’s not even the red one I’ve been searching for that I mentioned recently.

STREAMING 🍿 Not much going on for ol’ square eyes here this week although we have started Season 2 Of Bad Sisters on apple TV and Season 2 of Wolf Hall on BBC and iPlayer. I highly recommend both. Very different genres but both excellent.

There won’t be a Faffing Friday next week as I’ll be faffing about in Edinburgh from Wednesday with my girlfriends, We’ll be whooping it up on a pre-Christmas cocktail- fuelled getaway.
