My Faffing Friday ‘Stacks are basically a curation of my week - what I’ve been doing, reading, watching, scrolling, eating, buying.

WOW! What a week. I am making so many changes in my life at the moment. This year has been a real what do I want kinda year. I’m really working on myself and deciding what I want for myself. I’m calling it my ‘Longevity Plan.’
Consequently, all the things I’m sorting out are fairly administrative heavy so for someone with ADHD like me it’s a lot and means I don’t have much time for anything else.
STREAMING 🍿 If you’ve been reading previous Faffing Fridays you’ll know I do love a celebrity bio pic/doc. No one tops this more than the icon that was and is Elizabeth Taylor - Rebel Superstar. What a woman. It’s 3 episodes on BBC iPlayer and I consumed it it one sitting because I was hooked.
I' was slow on the uptake for Rivals because I was away on holiday last month when it came out ..
It’s 1986 in The Cotswolds and the tone is set in the first couple of minutes .. lots of romping. So many famous faces from British TV pop up. I loved it because it was very nostalgic for me. Lots of references to the 80s which for me were a fabulous decade. I was 20 in 1983 so I guess you can understand the sentiment.
Loved all the music .. have a listen/watch to one of my favourites that I’ve been playing on repeat from Yazoo or you’ll know one half as the fabulous Alison Moyet now.
But it’s the Birdie Song that’s been my earworm this week 🤣 I mean there’s a reason it still gets played at parties even now. It gave us so much entertainment. I love the dancing scene to this.
SHOPPING 🛍️ Treat myself to this fabulous green Floral Print Puff Sleeve Midi Dress. It’s been reduced even more since I bought it at the weekend. so goooooo. It’s for next summer. I love putting something away and bringing it out months from now. It’s like a double treat. I’m patiently waiting for the pink one to hopefully reduce at some point. And guess what? It has pockets!!

Thanks for the mention! I need to find that Liz Taylor show!
I think brand specific advents can be wonderful but you do see the same old products popping up in multi brand calendars and I’m 100% over it :-)
