Sharon, I hesitate massively to use the 'brave' word but honestly, this really is and so important that we share our stories and, in so doing, find connection, encouragement and know we're not alone (even though, I know exactly what you mean, it can leave us with a "vulnerability hangover" as Brene Brown has called it! It's a hard one. Writing in this way is something I've talked to writer friends about a lot). Truly - you're doing a great job, and you've had a rough ride with bugs (so many I know have them this summer! That cough!). Hugs! XO

Spot on with the 'vulnerability hangover', Jenni. I've never wanted to delete something more. And this is only just the briefest glimpse of how my ADHD shows up. Thankfully, I've always got back on track. I dread the day I can't btw but we won't talk about that! Thankyou so much for taking the time out to comment ... it really means a lot when I'm stuck deep in the pit. Cough still here!! Back off to see my GP this morning 😘

Oh I completely get that re thinking twice - and as friends of mine and I’ve said, we reserve the right to always change our minds (and I’ve done, too many times to mention!) Truly understand! And Brene’s line really captures it, doesn’t it? So glad you’re on track, hope doc goes well this morning (or went!) and you can chill and enjoy some sunshine and restorative time over the weekend. 🥰
